For over seven years now Mike and Light Ministries have partnered with Global Field Evangelism Ministries in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. To date over 30 churches have been planted. There are three orphanages in operation with new orphanages currently under construction. Four feeding stations with schools for pre-K and kindergarten operate for street children under the Light Ministries umbrella. |
Each year Mike and Teresa, assisted by guest U.S. pastors, host a pastors/wives conference.
All thirty of our pastors and their wives come to a hotel for four days and three nights of feasting (physically and spiritually), fellowship and planning for future ministry needs. This is easily the high point of the year for our pastors and staff.

Sponser an orphan
Girls and boys are available for sponsorship. To support an existing orphan costs $75 per month. To sponsor a new orphan there is a one time “start-up” fee of $150 (to purchase bedding, clothing and initial medical treatment) and then $75 per month.

Sponser a pastor and his family
It costs $300 per month to provide the salary for a pastor and his family in Kenya. This provides their food, clothing and rent for housing. These are our “front line” warriors. This support is vital to the stability of our ministry in Africa.

Feeding station sponsorship
We spend $1,750 per month at our three feeding stations/schools. This provides two hot meals and pre-school/kindergarten training for over 350 street children. As God provides more resources, we will feed more children!

Build a classroom
We need to add new classrooms at our feeding stations. The cost to add a classroom is $3,000.
